Food is always great and reasonably priced. I eat here at least once a month and always take people there for special occasions. The decor is what it is not fancy, but it is a great meal.

Wanted to try out their lobster dish with ginger and scallions since I've tried it at another restaurant and loved it. Unfortunately it was not up to par as it lacked flavor and texture was off.

Food alone, it's pretty good for Chinese. The food is a 4/5. Quality seems alright but it's a little on the high side. Everything we ordered came out piping hot and crisp which meant it was freshly prepared. Only bad thing was my steam white rice. It was well over cooked and was like a rice cake... all mushy inside the middle. The bad part is the service and atmosphere. Half the restaurant is closed down, just looks like areas for storage so only a few open tables. Decor is older, floors a little dirty, and tables/menus a lityle sticky. The gentlemen running the place doesn't speak English well and either doesn't hear or pretends not to hear any requests. For example, extra napkins or silverware... you can ask but you may or may not get it. It's a typical Chinese restaurant with poor service but pretty good food. Overall, I'd give this place a 3.6/5 so I'm rounding up.

The food is fresh, hot and delicious. It's Cantonese family style and hits the spot when you crave Chinese food that's more authentic than Panda Express. The service is what's to be expected at a small mom and pop Chinese restaurant where the workers speak limited English and appear to be grumpy. Luckily, I speak Cantonese which made communication a little better. The place is in a run-down strip mall on Santa Monica Blvd just east of Bundy. It's an older dirty plaza, but there's free parking on the ground level and underground. The underground seems kind of sketchy, so it may be better to park on the ground level or there seems to be plenty of meters and free parking in the neighborhood behind the restaurant. The restaurant itself isn't the cleanest and isn't fancy by any means. But we had a booth by the window and it was fine. Alas, you don't come for the ambiance or the service...you come for some good old Chinese food and they definitely delivered on that.

This is the only place we go to for Chinese food for many reasons! Unfortunately with our lifestyle we can't eat out too much so we always take the food to-go and it still tastes great! They poke holes to allow fried food to vent which is always very thoughtful! They're always so quick to prepare the food as well We normally get their lo mein, honey walnut shrimp, beef broccoli, Mapo tofu, sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, spicy eggplant, tangerine beef, and sizzling rice soup! Flavor of everything is so good! I'm always so grateful to the workers because they always help me carry our food the car when I'm by myself with my toddler. You don't understand how appreciative I am to have them always help me. Definitely stop by and you'll have a great experience whether you dine in or take out!
